Our Story
At Bridge of Care, we started with a simple idea: to provide reliable and compassionate home health care services to those in need. Over time, we have grown into a trusted provider of quality care, serving the needs of our clients with dedication and professionalism.
Our Founder and Principal, Lisa, boasts of over 20 years experience working in the care industry. She is a registered nurse and holds a BSc (Honours) in Cancer care. During the Covid pandemic, she worked at the Royal Marsden Cancer hospital as a Senior Cancer nurse and ward Manager.
Lisa continues to work for both Kingston hospital and the Royal Marsden as an Upper Gastrointestinal Clinical Oncology Specialist Nurse. Not only does she have first hand experience caring for her elderly parents, her career over the last several years has taught her to be thorough in her service delivery. She is an excellent communicator, genuinely passionate about quality care delivery, and very dependable. Her work has included mentoring and signing off on pre-registered nurses.
She is also trained to recognise acute symptoms and deterioration in her clients. She was compelled to form the organization primarily with the aim to remedy the failures in the care delivery system. We not only provide care. We treat our service users like family. Welcome to Bridge of Care.
